I am currently taking part in a year abroad programme at Arizona State University, based on the Tempe campus. Having explored much of the local area, I am spreading my wings and seeing what the rest of the west coast has to offer during my time off.

Having never visited the west coast before, I have loved the difference between this area, and the east coast. There is definitely more dry land! This is broadening my photography ability because this is a different type of rural photography. The style of editing is much different as the blue sky is brighter but the landscape is very brown. Sometimes I do miss grass! My aim is to expand the variety in this project by adding many rural photographs.

I have focused my attention on the desert life and patriotism in the student city named Tempe.

 

My next ambition will be to discover as many different states and cities as I can during my year across the pond!
